Seon Lee (aka Sean / Vegas) is a far-right reactionary who helped FBI informant Mickey Windecker infiltrate and entrap participants of the George Floyd uprising in Denver. Seon has been active at pro-Palestine street actions and protest camps in Denver as a medic, though most participants are not aware of his bigoted beliefs, nor his history backing FBI informant Mickey Windecker.
We encourage comrades to distance themselves with Seon immediately. He is not a leftist and has never been held accountable for his involvement in surveilling & repressing the George Floyd uprising in Denver, which included entrapping two Black men.
Be aware that Seon does own firearms and may be concealed carrying if you see him.
Please see the “Don’t Get Caught Up” section for security tips, especially if you are new to protest movements. You do not need to be paranoid and retreat from the movement to stay safe.
Background – FBI Involvement
This information is based on conversations with trusted comrades who were active in the George Floyd uprising in Denver.
FBI informant Mickey Windecker used Seon Lee and other street medics to gain entry into movement spaces during the George Floyd uprising. Mickey’s crew was deputized with marshaling responsibilities, and were instructed to gather phone numbers, social media information, and organizational intel which was fed back to Mickey, and then onto Mickey’s handlers at the Denver Police Department and FBI. The street medics did not know that they were engaging in the policing of the movement until we blew Mickey’s cover in September, 2020.
INFORMANT ALERT:
Mickey Windecker sent the below message to an activist who shared our thread on him. Three days later, his home and a Springs comrade's home were raided by FBI and local police.

At this point, many in the Denver protest scene distanced themselves from Mickey, but Seon and other members of Mickey’s inner-circle doubled down and defended Mickey.
Mickey’s inner-circle helped Mickey film a video where he denies being an informant and threatens to kill us.
While Mickey’s comrades did not know for certain he was an informant, there were many obvious signs he should not be trusted:
- Mickey’s insistence that his crew collect personally identifying information on every activist they could.
- The fact that Mickey wore a Go Pro to protests.
- That Mickey doesn’t have any history in any radical movements.
- That Mickey had a pedophilia charge that was mysteriously later dropped.
- That many people were arrested around Mickey, but not Mickey himself.
- That Mickey claimed he was not arrested because he held “Rojavan diplomatic immunity” (Rojava isn’t a state, and especially isn’t one the US would recognize.)
- That people who spoke out about Mickey were raided shortly after.
If you want to learn more about Mickey Windecker’s infiltration of the Denver George Floyd uprising, we recommend listening to Trevor Aaronson’s Alphabet Boys podcast, as well as an interview one of our members did about the podcast with It’s Going Down.
Seon’s Bigotry
Several members of Mickey’s inner circle that helped him repress the George Floyd uprising were composed of reactionary ‘post-left’ socialists (unrelated to post-left anarchism) that is built around the StupidPol subreddit, and podcasts such as Red Scare and Cum Town. A good faith reading of this milieu is that they believe the hope for socialist victory has been dashed by the western left’s emphasis on intersectionality and equality. StupidPol types are racist, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-feminist, oftentimes anti-union (for example, they oppose ‘woke’ unions such as the Starbucks Labor Union), and oppose ‘the left’ as we know it. In other words, they are right-wingers who read State & Revolution with a coat of irony slapped on top.
In listening to their conversation with Steve Sailer, I see no difference between The Red Scare podcast and Alt Right/Vanguard Radio run by Richard Spencer in the early 2010s, particularly long winded conversations on race and IQ or framing trans folks as sexual deviants.

Current Appearance
Seon has been seen at Denver-area Palestine demonstrations wearing shooter muffs with a microphone.
Don’t Get Caught up
While we don’t know what Seon’s intentions are for participating in pro-Palestine demonstrations, we do know that he (likely unintentionally) worked with an FBI informant to repress protesters he views as enemies, either by their politics, their sexuality, or race. Seon never apologized or engaged in any sort of accountability for helping law enforcement surveil & arrest these anti-racist protesters. This information should be enough for anyone with a basic commitment to liberation to abandon any working relationship with Seon.
We rarely can know for sure that someone is an informant until they have gotten one of us locked up and the details come out in discovery. However, with good security culture, we can dramatically improve our chances of staying safe by operating under the assumption that there are bad actors in our midst.
The central principle of all security culture, the point that cannot be emphasized enough, is that people should never be privy to any sensitive information they do not need to know.

Here are some tips and tricks that would have mitigated Mickey, Seon, et al’s surveillance strategies:
- Don’t trust people filming you at demos, avoid them or even disable their cameras if possible.
- Just because the filmer is “in the movement” doesn’t mean their footage won’t be used as evidence against you later.
- Don’t give your phone number or social media handles to strangers, even if they are in an official organizer role, such as a marshall or medic.
- Use Signal’s new phone number privacy feature to maintain your anonymity on Signal. You no longer need to give over a phone number to connect on Signal!
- Use an alias on Signal and in organizing spaces.
- Be skeptical of those who make a big show of their capacity for violence.
- Be skeptical of those who brag about illegal actions they’ve taken
- Organize with people you know and trust.
- Get vouches from people you don’t.
- Be careful of what you tell and to who. No one needs to know your personal info or your plans but you and those you want to share it with.
- Do not tolerate bigotry.
- Immediately seek support from your comrades or movement elders if someone is pressuring you to break the law, particularly if it involves fire, explosives, or firearms.
- Do not tolerate copjacketing.
- NONE of the above is proof that someone is a bad actor.
- It is extremely dangerous to throw out accusations of state collaboration without hard proof (from discovery, admission, financial records, etc.) Radicals have been killed by false allegations (sometimes made by undercovers themselves) that they are undercover.
- Mickey was able to stay in the movement as long as he did because he effectively copjacketed several activists who were suspicious of him.
- When movement participants engage in dangerous or concerning activity, it is usually best to talk to them about it. In most cases, suspicious behavior is explained by ignorance and is quickly resolved.
- In cases where the suspicious behavior continues, it is usually best to create distance from the problematic individual. Again, this individual probably isn’t a cop, but a fool.
Good security is based on behaviors, not an essential definition of the activist. Someone who is definitely not a cop can still engage in reckless and harmful behaviors to the movements they participate in, while real informants can make their presence unnoticed for years as they collect information. Furthermore, comrades can flip and inform to law enforcement or our fascist adversaries. These would-be informants should ideally have limited intel on participants with good security practices even if they shared space.
You should assume there are bad actors (cops, fascists, informants, and future informants) at public demonstrations and movement spaces and act accordingly. This does not mean not showing up, but it should inform how you should up, what you say, and what you do in these spaces.
You should be reading up on and discussing security culture with your comrades. Here are some great places to start:
