Ryan Hatfield aka “Ryan Arthur” – Atomwaffen Division / American Futurist

Ryan Thomas Hatfield (24) is an early member of the accelerationist neo-Nazi organization Atomwaffen Division (rebranded as National Socialist Order and again to National Socialist Resistance Front.) Accelerationist neo-Nazism promotes violent terrorism to advance a white supremacist agenda. Ryan uses the alias “Ryan Arthur” when writing for Atomwaffen Division’s website American Futurist.

Ryan Hatfield is last known to have lived in Thornton, Colorado but his current location and occupation is unknown. If you have any information about Ryan Hatfield, contact us securely & anonymously.

Ryan Hatfield’s identity was first publicized by journalist Nate Thayer, who has since passed. We worked with Nate on his piece, and in memory of him and his work, we have republished Nate’s article “Secret Identities of U.S. Nazi Terror Group Revealed” because his website has since gone dark. RIP Nate Thayer. We recommend reading Nate’s piece alongside this update.

Atomwaffen Division

Atomwaffen Division (AWD) is an accelerationist neo-Nazi organization founded in 2015 that was inspired by longtime Denver area Nazi James Mason and his book Siege. AWD encourages acceleration of societal collapse in order to create the conditions for a national socialist society in the wake of mass death and destruction. Several members of AWD are serving prison sentences for charges ranging from assassination plots, mass shootings, child pornography,  swatting, and more. AWD, which has since rebranded as National Socialist Resistance Front, and is considered a terrorist organization by the Canadian and UK governments.

Ryan Hatfield joined Atomwaffen Division at the age of 16 from the Nazi message board Iron March. At the time, no one in AWD had any contact with James Mason, who does not use the internet. While still in high school, Ryan was able to get in touch with Mason and bring him into Atomwaffen Division.

Atomwaffen Rebrands…Twice

Since Ryan Hatfield was first exposed as a leader of Atomwaffen Division in December 2019, Atomwaffen Division has gone through several rebrands and splits. The current iteration of Atomwaffen Division is called National Socialist Resistance Front (NSRF) and their media operation is American Futurist (previously Siege Culture.)

A post on American Futurist announcing the formation of National Socialist Resistance Front

NSRF is a rebrand of Nationalist Socialist Order (NSO), which Ryan led and alleges was taken over by Satanist members affiliated with Order of Nine Angles. As of publishing, the website for National Socialist Order of 9 Angles (NSO9a) is no longer online and it appears that the group is inactive.

Since this rebrand, Ryan and his komrades have formally disavowed James Mason for slander against Ryan, his embrace of Satanist members of AWD, and his history of pedophilia (which has been well known for years and probably not a legitimate reason for the breakup.)

After being unmasked by Nate Thayer, Ryan Hatfield moved into a $2,000/mo condo with a water view in Northglenn, CO. Shortly thereafter, anti-fascists distributed flyers to his neighbors warning them of their new Nazi neighbor. Ryan then likely moved to Thornton but we have not been able to confirm that residence or if he still lives there.

I applaud anything that could increase tension in this country. The El Paso guy was a white nationalist Trump Lover, and I believe that the shooting was meant to show his anger with Mexicans, though he only shot 6 Mexicans in total, apparently, he should’ve chosen a much better target. Shooting up a random Wal-Mart to show anger at Mexicans is nonsensical. If he was gonna do something like that, he should’ve done what Roof did, and picked a Mexican community center, i.e. a Church, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, etc.

An audio sample of Ryan Hatfield’s voice is available here from his March 2023 interview with fellow Nazi accelerationist Roman Wolf aka Norman Spear.

My dad is incredibly racist, he’d never date a non-white if (for some reason) he and my mom got divorced,

-Ryan Hatfield

Ryan Hatfield’s father is John Hatfield of Lochbuie, CO. John trained Ryan how to shoot and is at best indifferent to his son’s leadership in the accelerationist neo-Nazi movement. It is worth mentioning that several members of Atomwaffen Division have been arrested for planning murders and mass shootings.

Conclusion

Ryan can rebrand Atomwaffen all he wants, but while he’s at the steering wheel, it will be clearly recognized for what it is. Ryan and his komrades talk a big game on Telegram and in their articles about how infantile other Nazi groups like Patriot Front and Active Club are, as if Ryan hasn’t gotten many of the people around him serving lengthy prison sentences.
