This piece aims to consolidate some recent information about William Planer’s activities as a neo-Nazi activist, particularly with Patriot Front, and is not a comprehensive look at his involvement in the white power scene.

Patriot Front
We have identified William Scott Planer of Elizabeth, Colorado as the Patriot Front member who uses the alias “Wilson CO” within the racist organization. Patriot Front is a white supremacist hate group that broke off from Vanguard America after James Alex Fields drove his car through a crowd of anti-fascist protesters countering the 2017 “Unite The Right” Nazi rally in Charlottesville, VA. Patriot Front’s goal is to make America a fascist white ethnostate.
Patriot Front’s activism is mostly based around creating social media content and making news headlines. Members are expected to regularly place and photograph Patriot Front stickers that are purchased from the organization’s leader, Thomas Rousseau, and then posted on the group’s social media accounts.
Patriot Front members also regularly vandalize City and State property. Leaked internal Patriot Front footage, published by Unicorn Riot, shows William Planer spray painting Patriot Front propaganda under a bridge in under East Arapahoe Road in Aurora in November, 2021.

Thanks to leaked internal chats published by Unicorn Riot, we can see William Planer’s messages within the organization. Note that much of the Colorado & southern Wyoming chapter’s coordination was done over Telegram; those communications are not included in the leaks.
William Planer has attended several national Patriot Front actions, including their 2021 march in Washington, D.C. that was foiled by anti-fascists.

William Planer is a member of Front Range Active Club, which shares considerable overlap with Patriot Front Network 3.
Asatru Folk Assembly
William Planer is also a member the white supremacist neo-Folkish organization Asatru Folk Assembly.
Nazi Prisoner Support
After getting out of prison for beating antifascists and vandalizing in Sacramento and vandalizing a synagogue in Colorado Springs, William Scott Planer helped setup the Nazi prisoner support group National Socialist Charitable Coalition.
A year after launching, National Socialist Charitable Coalition rebranded to the more politically correct “Global Minority Initiative.”
GMI continued NatSoc CC’s mission of providing support white supremacist prisoners, including the movement’s most abhorrent mass murderers, such as James Alex Fields who drove his car through a crowd of anti-racist protestors in Charlottesville, Dylann Roof, who shot up a church in Atlanta, and Robert Bowers, who shot up the Tree of Life Synagogue.
Global Minority Initiative disbanded in April 2023 and their work is being carried on by the National Justice Party.
Past Activism
Planer was arrested in 2017 for placing a “Nuke Israel” sticker on Chabad Lubavitch Jewish Center in Colorado Springs as a “fugitive from justice” for his violent involvement in a white supremacist march in Sacramento, California the year prior. Planer was released from prison in 2019 and quickly returned to neo-Nazi organizing.
The first public demonstration Planer was seen at was at a Drag Queen Story Hour in Broomfield, CO alongside his former Traditionalist Worker Party komrade Joshua Yeakel.
